BIO: Osmar “Junior” Delima is the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu head instructor at Martial Arts Development. Born in Goiania, Brazil, Junior began training in the art Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at the young age of 13. He developed a deep passion and devotion for Jiu-Jitsu, and this motivation directed his focus on training during his youth, helping to detract typical distractions faced by young teenagers. At age 26, Junior holds the rank of Brown Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and is an accomplished medalist at prestigious Jiu-Jitsu championship events. As the founder of the Delima Fight Team, Junior has been a professional MMA fighter for five years and currently is a defending Featherweight World Champion. As a result of his MMA preparations, Junior has developed proficiencies in Muay Thai and American Boxing, in addition to MMA specific core-condition training. Junior has been instructing men, women and children of all ages and levels in martial arts for 8 years; his continued passions shared with those on the mat.
